We are welcomed by the hosts Ron Strong & Mike Stone.
 

First we are told that Junkyard Dog sustained some ligament damage to his left knee last week and will most likely be out until early to mid May. They then remind us that last week’s show ended when the main event match for the RCW Heavyweight title between Chris Lyon and Mike Valiant ended with Greg Valentine interfering to ruin the match. Therefore the promoter of RCW Marty Goldstein has set up a special main event tag team match for tonight which will see Lyon & Valiant team up against Valentine and Adrian Adonis.

 

“No One Like You” by the Scorpions serenades the England sisters, Tawney & Corrie down to the ring for the opening bout. This was made from the challenge last week. Corrie tries to stay down at ringside but is sent to the back by referee George Gadasky.

Despite being the hometown gal, Tawney’s vicious turn last year has left her as the villain in this match. The fans boo her unmercifully, and chant “You’re a Boot, You’re a boot” at her throughout the bout. It’s a nasty back and forth catfight, in and out of the ring. Rahib gets her Indian deathlock submission finisher on England but its too close to the ropes and the champ manages to get a break. England comes back and takes Rahib down with a hairplane spin and then a flying dropkick right to the face of the kneeling Rahib. The pin attempt however only yielded a 2 count. The action spilled outside the ring, and Tawney managed to send Rahib head first into the guardrail. She then went back into the ring and distracted the ref while Corrie England reappeared from the back and nailed Jeannie in the back of the leg with a chair before disappearing again to the back. Tawney went to work with a series of kicks and stomps, before locking on a figure-four which quickly made Rahib submit.

Goldstein] Chris I’m afraid I have some bad news for you.

 

Lyon] Well spit it out geek, the champion doesn’t have all day you know. I have to prepare for tonight’s main event against two of the greatest wrestlers in the world, Adrian Adonis and Greg Valentine. And I haven’t even seen my partner Mike Valiant yet.

 

Goldstein] Well I’m afraid that’s the bad news. You see I just received word that Valiant was ambushed in the backstage area when he arrived earlier tonight, and has been taken to the hospital to recover. You are going to need a new partner for tonight’s main event, or go it alone.

 

Lyon] Who was responsible for this Goldstein? Who? Don’t make me beat it out of you!

 

Goldstein] We have no idea, we’re looking into it. What you should be doing is worrying about finding a partner for tonight.

 

Lyon] Don’t tell me my business buck-o. I WILL have a partner tonight and we will beat Valentine and Adonis. And Mike Valiant, when you are watching this tape later, know one thing. If  I find out that you left me hi and dry on purpose, or deceived me in any way, I will cripple you. You will spend the rest of your days sitting in a wheelchair, drooling over orange jello.

The Destroyer then refers to tonight’s main event as a rogue’s gallery, and says he does not care what happens. However, he throws an open challenge out to any of them to step into the ring with him, a real technician.
