Post-Match interview:
RCW Heavyweight champion
Chris Lyon called out his triumverate team-mates Clarke Roenick and Mike Valiant. Lyon then told his
fellow tag team champion partner Mike Valiant that because of his schedule defending the Heavyweight title he wouldn’t
be able to hold onto the tag championships. He told Valiant that he was forfeiting. Valiant of course was
very upset, and Roenick actually had to step between the two to cool things down. RCW commissioner Marty Goldstein
came down to the ring and accepted the resignation. He announced that a tournament would be held for the vacant titles at
the December 3rd anniversary show. Valiant said he would be in that tournament, that he deserved the right as the
other half who didn’t quit, and asked Roenick to be his partner. Roenick accepted, and the triumverate left the ring,
still together but not happy.
