RCW Tag Team Title Match
2 out of 3 Falls
The Roughnecks (Stan Rodgers & Russel Riggs) (champions)
v
The Royal Kiwis (Kelly Hobin & Keith McIvor)
**Roughnecks won the first fall by pinfall when they used an illegal doubleteam stuffed piledriver, Rodgers pinned Hobin at 10:10.
**Hobin was still injured and McIvor had to go it on his own. The Roughnecks took liberties but McIvor surprised them and the crowd when he managed to roll up Riggs and get a pinfall at 16:11.
**Hobin was back into the action shortly after the start of the 3rd fall. With the Roughnecks in trouble Rodgers went to retrieve a chair and tried to get himself DQ'd but Chrisscat came down from the lockeroom and wrestled the chair away from Rodgers. Back inside the Kiwis nailed Riggs with a double flying clothesline, and Hobin pinned Riggs for the deciding fall at 20:25.
[The Royal Kiwis defeated The Roughnecks 2 out of 3 falls]
[The Royal Kiwis win the RCW Tag Team Titles]

RCW Heavyweight Title Match
The Mummy (/w Shiek Fal-Had) (champion)  v  The Destroyer
Mummy controlled the early going, out brawling the challenger, but soon Destroyer had his opponent neutralized on the mat with some wear down holds. The action picked up again and the Destroyer dropped The Mummy to the mat with an anklelock takedown, then turned it into a bow and arrow submission. Fal-Had jumped up on the apron and the Destroyer had to release the submission hold and take out the Shiek with a flying elbow. Mike Valiant and Chris Lyon came running down to the ring but the Destroyer stopped them both from entering the ring with a flying forearm and a standing dropkick. However, The Mummy had pulled out his nail file from his bandages and attacked the challenger. The Destroyer though had eyes in the back of his head and would not be denied. He ducked under the Mummy's attack, picked him up and delivered an atomic drop which drove him head first into the Shiek who once again was back on the ring apron. The Mummy fell to the mat, The Destroyer covered and hooked the leg for the win at  15:52.
[The Destroyer defeated The Mummy by pinfall after an atomic drop]
[The Destroyer won the RCW Heavyweight Title]

After the match Lyon and Valiant interrupted the presentation of the title belt but "Stampede" Clarke Roenick came out to backup then new champ, and with the odds now even the ring was quickly cleared for the new champ to accept his belt.

**Lyon placed his feet on the bottom rope for extra leverage during the pin. After the match Roenick was incensed and attacked Lyon, busting him open with a steel chair. Mike Valiant came out and attacked Roenick from behind, and wrestled away the steel chair. However, when he went to smash Roenick with it, The Destroyer came down and pulled the chair away. Roenick wanted the Destroyer to give him the chair and go after Valiant and Lyon but The Destoyer talked him down.

Return Bout
Royal Kiwis (Kelly Hobin & Keith McIvor) (champions)
v
The Roughnecks (Stand Rodgers & Russel Riggs)
The Kiwis proved once and for all in this match that they have gone a step beyond where the Roughnecks stand. They outwrestled and outclassed the former champs. Rodgers and Riggs tried to cheat their way to victory but got caught by the ref. Riggs used a roll of coins to bust open Hobin but the roll burst in the ring and the ref disqualified Riggs.
[Royal Kiwis defeated The Roughnecks by disqualification at 15:05]
[Royal Kiwis retain the RCW Tag Team Titles]

Return Bout
The Destroyer (champion)  v  The Mummy (/w Shiek Fal-Had)
The Destroyer fought fire with fire against the Mummy, but was fighting a losing battle because of the interference of Fal-Had. Finally Clarke Roenick came from the back and chased the Shiek out to the back. The tables now slowly turned in the favor or the champion, who managed to ground the powerful Mummy. He used an abdominal stretch and a bodyscissors to weaken the challenger before applying the bow and arrow submission for the win.
[The Destroyer defeated The Mummy by submisison with the bow and arrow at 22:09]
[The Destroyer retains the RCW Heavyweight Title]

After the match the duo of Chris Lyon and Mike Valiant once again attacked the champ, coming from the backstage area. This time there was no sign of Roenick who had earlier chased the Shiek away from ringside. The villians attacked and worked over the champ for a couple minutes before RCW officials could intervene and rescue the Destroyer.

Big RCW announcements were made thismonth. RCW has signed a contract to promote a card at the Winnipeg Arena in September and again in December (the 2nd anniversary show). RCW will be bringing in world famous talent from all over the NWA, the west coast, and Maple Leaf Wrestling. In conjunction with those two cards will be a card in Brandon, Manitoba the day before in December, and the day after in September so that the people in Brandon can get a look at the great talent being brought in.
Going forward in 1982 RCW will be getting a regular time slot on Public Access Television, channel 13 CABE from Winnipeg. In recognition of the one hour show RCW will be adding a 3rd title to the promotion, a TV title.
