River City Wrestling #27
Chalmers Community Club, Winnipeg, Manitoba

Kenny Ho made a successful premiere defeating Nacho Buerrera by submission with the Shanghai brainbuster at 6:21.

Eric Frehl defeated Frank Hill by disqualification when Hill got himself intentionally DQ'd for a low blow instead of facing what looked like an inevtiable loss to the barefoot newcomer from the west coast, at 12:44.

#1 Contenders Match
Roughnecks: Stan Rodgers & Russel Riggs defeated Chrisscat & Chris Pepper by pinfall when Rodgers pinned Chrisscat after a roundhouse right at 8:04.
**Rodgers and Riggs are newcomers to RCW and looked very impressive. Rodgers is a big guy coming in at about 6'6 330 lbs, while Riggs also has a fairbit of size at 6'4 280 lbs. This sets up a title match between two villian teams KISS Army v Roughnecks.

Return Match:
Mike Valiant defeated Steve Olsonoski by pinfall with the crucifix at 9:56.
**Valiant gets his revenge for his loss to Steve O at the title tourney in January.

#1 Contenders Match;
The Destroyer Returns to RCW

The Mummy ruined the return of the Destroyer defeating him by pinfall following a thumb to the throat and draping his feet over the bottom rope for extra leverage, at 18:09.

RCW Tag Team Title Match
The KISS Army (Demon Gene & Paul Superstar) defeated Clarke Roenick & Kenny Jay by pinfall when Gene pinned Jay following a stomp from the second rope at 10:30.
[KISS Army (Demon Gene & Paul Superstar) retained the RCW Tag Titles]

Main Event
CANADIAN HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH
Angelo Mosca (Canadian Champ)
v
Chris Lyons (River City Champ)

Mosca was forced to cheat through most of this match to keep down the high flying attack of Lyons, who for his part had to abandon much of his submission based game plan because of Mosca's size and strength. Mosca used illegal chokeholds and a shot to the ringpost to weaken Lyons. The new Canadian champion making his debut in RCW picked up the victory by submission with his Mosca Full Nelson at 17:33.
[Angelo Mosca retained the Canadian Heavyweight Title]
