Tonight, the championship committee has begun to sign matches for that big event and Chris Champion will have an announcment on the matches already signed later in the show.

Also tonight;

Iron Mike Tyson is on hand for an interview following his loss last week.

And

Brock Lesnar has been declared the #1 challenger for the MAPW Heavyweight title and will face champion Petey Williams in the main event tonight.

 

The other big news, is that unhappy with the way they were treated last week at Lock & Load, the Overlords have decided to boycott tonight's card. This brings a mixture of cheers and jeers. Joe Aiello says those jerks think that they can hold MAPW hostage and that without them the ratings will go down.

Chris Champion calls out MAPW Heavyweight Champion Petey Williams who also happens to be the Commissioner as a result of his victory over Mike Tyson at Lock & Load. Champion tells Williams they have a situation. MAPW Women's Champion April Hunter had been signed to defend her title against Sarah Stock in a rematch tonight, because of the interference of Adam Riggs to help her win last week. But with the Overlords boycotting the show she isn't here.

Williams says as commissioner he is making a decision. Tonight Sarah Stock will get a title shot. If April Hunter decides not to show up then he will name her proxy replacement to defend the title and she will have to live with the results.

 

 

-fairly easy victory for O'Haire.

 

-Dragon decided to return the favor after being attacked from behind last week by Vampiro. This match had already been signed so Dragon and Vampiro had no choice but to compete as a tag team despite what happened last week. However, when Vampiro was in rough shape Dragon chose that moment to jump off the apron and leave his double crossing partner in the ring for some payback.

 

-hard fought match but Reyes and Vick had some dissension as Reyes actually seemed to be helping out Rhodes and Kanyon even to the detriment of his own tag team. Evergreen and Chavez capitalized on that to control a lot of the match.

 

Post-Match:

Chris Kanyon lay motionless after being pinned and seemed to be knocked out. He was woken, but after being looked at by doctors was removed on a stretcher just to be safe.

Iron Mike Tyson comes to the ring to a loud jeer. He tries to explain away his loss to Petey Williams last week as a fluke. He blames it on Lesnar for getting into his head (along with all the other voices). So Iron Mike says he wants "revengeance" at Armageddon with a match against Brock Lesnar. He says he wants Lesnar's decision tonight.

 

[Tajiri retains the MAPW TV Title]

-Tajiri's impressive run as TV champion continues, and Bagwell's shot earned at Lock & Load is now done.

 

[April Hunter retains the MAPW Women's Title]

-Hunter arrived at the arena and broke the Overlords boycott just in time to defend her title. It was back and forth for the first five minutes, but as soon as the ring announcer declared 5 minutes expired, on cue, Hunter slid out of the ring, grabbed her title belt and left the premises.

-Lesnar started strong, but Williams had his moments too. Lesnar had just hit a nice spear and looked ready to try for the F5 when the Overlords hit the ring in street clothes.

 

Adam Riggs, Dan Severn, The Stalk, Brandon Myers, and April Hunter went after Williams and Lesnar like a pack of jackyls. Lesnar and Williams fought back to back long enough to fend off the Overlords until Blaze Bayley, DDP, and Sam Holiday were able to hit the ring and turn the tide.
